WHAT WE PROVIDE

Our yoga classes are currently based in the New Forest, however we also offer private classes which can either be online or face to face (dependant on location). Visit the yoga classes page to find out more.

In recent years Yoga has grown in popularity. From beginning as a spiritual discipline, deeply rooted within India’s heritage, to now being offered as a way of achieving a honed and toned you, it certainly caters for many. There are many schools of thought on its benefits, and although these all should be recognised and explored individually, it’s the unique way it embodies all that gives this practice it’s edge.

It is important to remember that although Yoga is mostly known in the west for its practical elements, there are several other aspects that underpin this discipline. In fact so complex is its system that it is more appropriately viewed as a philosophy, a way of life that is embodied by what we believe through to how we breathe.

The name itself means to unite or connect, the mind, body and soul; really it’s holistic wellbeing at its best and it’s for that reason that here at VYM we are big fans.
