Our Values

Creating safe spaces for those who spend so much time caring for others, can come together and care for themselves.

Through the power of sharing, being still, slowing down and re-connecting with yourself.

Join the hundreds of other people who come through our doors and taken that first step to valuing themselves again.

Meet our founder, Nathalie Kealy

My journey into mental health began over 15 years ago with a degree in Mental Health Nursing, followed by many years working within the NHS. Over time, I trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, with Compassion Focused Therapy deeply shaping how I understand emotional wellbeing and the importance of self-compassion.

Alongside my clinical work, I trained in yoga and meditation, bringing together evidence-based psychology and holistic, restorative practices.

I founded Value Your Mind ten years ago to create nurturing spaces where people can step out of the busyness of life and truly reset. I now specialise in restorative retreats for carers because I know from my own experiences as a nurse and mother, how much those who give so much to others need space to be held themselves. Our retreats have been recognised in publications such as The Guardian’s Top 10 Retreats in Europe, but what matters is most is hearing the powerful changes the wonderful women who have attended our retreats have made.

Our Location

Nestled in the serene countryside of the UK and France, our retreats offer a peaceful environment for mental wellbeing and self-discovery.

We have a number of handpicked venues in the UK we use and one venue in the South of France.

All of these retreats are especially picked for there unique position in areas of natural beauty and nature, to support a slowing down and calming of the nervous system.

Value Your Mind is based in Hampshire on the edge of the New Forest.
