What’s different about our yoga retreats?

With so many yoga retreats popping up we recognise it’s difficult to know what to go for and why. So here’s a few little things that we think set us apart:

  1. Our main aim, relaxing your mood & relaxing your mind – Although our yoga retreats will definitely leave you feeling physically healthier, it’s important to know that this is secondary to our primary goal, to leave you feeling mentally healthier, clearer and restored. 
  2. Our relaxation retreats aren’t just about yoga- Yes this is an essential part but we also use several other tools and interventions to support you on your journey of relaxation; including meditation, mindfulness workshops, healthy meals & beautiful walks. 
  3. We know what we’re talking about – Running our relaxation yoga retreats is our founder, Nathalie Kealy and her trusty side kick, Emma- Jane Grieg. As well as both being qualified yoga instructors, Nathalie has several years worth of experience and expertise in the health & wellbeing industry, is a qualified mental health practitioner and has written many articles on stress-reduction, mental wellbeing and how to use food & yoga to improve your mood. 
  4. The setting of the retreat is not only beautiful but is a real home from home environment too – With the villa belonging to Nathalie & her family you get a sense of family, a space which almost instantly feels familiar. Consequently, as Nathalie has been visiting the area since a child she not only makes the perfect guide, but also a great source of information should you wish to explore the area further.

Where & What’s included?

Home for our relaxation yoga retreats is La Gargoulette, a beautiful villa (with a swimming pool of course) surrounded in vineyards & mountains. Within 20 minutes drive you can swim in the Mediterranean sea, wonder around the world famous harbour of St Tropez or visit the pretty hill top villages that provide outstanding views over the bay. 

Each day of our relaxation yoga retreats start with a class of energising & dynamic yoga  flow followed by a freshly prepared, healthy breakfast. You are then invited to join us in exploring what the local area has to offer, including beautiful scenic walks and visits to the local villages and towns. Lunch is usually then had back at the villa, full of lots of ingredients specifically chosen to calm the mood and cleanse the mind. The afternoon is free-time for you to do as you please, whether that’s chill by the pool, get your nose stuck in a good book or go off and explore by yourself, returning back to the mat in time for your evening session of deep tension releasing yin yoga. Supper will then be served before rounding the day off with half an hour of meditation or Yoga Nidra to get you ready for sleep. On one day you will also be invited to join our ‘extra special’ mindfulness workshop; details of this will be included in your welcome packs.
