These UK weekend retreats are all about relaxation for the mind; all are based in beautiful natural surroundings of the british countryside, include soul nourishing food, healing walks in nature, rejuvenating yoga, guided mindfulness practises and generally lots of happy boosting TLC. 

Each venue is chosen with careful consideration, to make sure they maximise on the calming and mood nourishing vibe. We ensure our chefs are also following this ethos, with all the meals they provide being designed around calming your mood & mind.

SELF-COMPASSION RETREAT~ MAY 2024

Where: Holwell Holistic Retreat, East Down, Barnstaple

The house is a beautiful peaceful farmstead, near the coast of North Devon.  With a wonderful yoga studio, log fires, rolling hills, a sauna and outdoor fire pit, beautifully furnished rooms, this house is perfect place for you to step away from life, step into nature, and pause.

We will be nourishing your bodies and minds with healthy home cooked vegetarian meals for our very experienced retreat chef; lots of yin yoga to deeply release and plenty of evidence based tools to help you form a deeper connection and more positive approach to your body and mind.

There are massages available as at an additional cost. Guests have loved these so much, some booked a second one whilst they were there!

The venue is approximately 4 hours drive from London.

This weekend is about letting go of all that stuff we carry; other peoples expectations, the expectations we have of ourselves, responsibilities, judgements…. and coming back to who we are without all of that. It is a real deep dive on building more self-compassion.

Fundamental to this is connecting with how it feels to be in your body, and becoming aware of the relationship between body and mind, and the relationship between ourselves, nature and healing.

This weekend is a specialised retreat on building a more positive relationship with yourself. Life can be be tough. We get pulled in all sorts of directions. Our minds have been overwhelmed with all sorts of pressures. It is now time to clear it all out, to release some of that pressure and come back to you. To give yourself some compassion, kindness and love; in mind, body and soul.

Nathalie is a trained self-compassion therapist and has designed the retreat, utilising all the tools, tips and techniques this practise offers. The yoga, the food, the sound healing and nature….it is all with the purpose of leaving you feeling a deep sense of connection with yourself.

Arrive 4pm Friday. Leave 1pm Sunday.

Where: A Sussex House in a little Forest, Lewes Sussex.

Every spring we come back to this eco friendly home.

Set in it’s own meadows and woodland, with ponds and lakes. Most of the rooms have en-suites and balconies, over looking the stunning countryside.

Think fire pits and starlit skies, yoga in a beautiful sunlight filled room and on a deck, over looking the meadows, walks among the healing trees and waters. This retreat is all about filling your body with renewed energy and light.

We will be nourishing your bodies and minds with healthy home cooked vegetarian meals, yoga to melt away aches and pains and meditations and exercises to clear and invigorate the mind.

The venue is approximately 1.5 hours from London and 25 minutes from Brighton.

These weekend mental health specialised retreats are about rest and resetting the mind.

This is a winter retreat where we utilise the change in season to begin to really come back to ourselves and maximise on the yin like qualities of winter. To delve into our inner sense of self, enjoy bringing the attention and energy back to ourselves and de-stress the senses.

In these retreats there is creative workshops, yin yoga to pause and find deep release, meditations to still the mind and food that nourishes and warms the body.

We encourage sleep, reading and phone off time on these retreats, in order to really encourage the mind into a slower pace.
