Perfect Vegan Burgers

Hi all,

Another great recipe for you. These vegan burgers are perfect for the summer as an alternative to all those meat filled BBQs. I served these beauties up at the last VYM mini retreats and I have to say they were a great success. Vegan burgers that are very easy to make but seem to give the impression of mastery in the kitchen and needless to say they are stuffed with powerful ingredients that do all sorts of wonderful things for our brains.

I’ve mentioned the amazing power of the sweet potato in my sweet potato gnocchi recipe, but here’s a quick recap; they are crammed full of vitamin C which is good for the skin and vitamin D which is great for giving our immune systems a boost. But best of all they have an abundance of magnesium which is a miracle worker for stress, dubbed the ‘relaxation mineral’ for the way it ensures our cells are working properly.  Then lets come onto the second ingrediant in these brilliant vegan burgers, walnuts. Well these gems are pure heaven for our brains, lots of vitamin E, melatonin, omega 3 and antioxidants, all which keep our brains young and in better stead to withstand the traumas of old age. So not only are these vegan burgers delicious for our taste buds but will also leave us feeling full of youthful radiance…
